Over 200 members of the Club MTB Cabezo la Jara and Ginés García Peña Cycling Puerto Lumbreras have participated in the annual gala dinner which have honored lumbrerenses cyclists who have excelled in 2011.
Distinctions were awarded to cyclists Antonio Perez, Mark Sanchez, Jose Manuel Cayuela, Fabian Molina, Francisco Diaz, and also gave special recognition to the path of the cyclist lumbrerense Ginés García.

The town of Puerto Lumbreras dinner last night hosted the annual gala Cabezo MTB Cycling Club la Jara in which honored the path of cyclists lumbrerenses that stood out during the past year in sports competitions at national, regional and local levels.
The event, which also took the Rider Ginés García Peña, had a dinner attended by over 200 partners of cycling clubs in the municipality, and also attended by the Mayor of the town, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, and Councillor for Youth and Sports, José Aragón.
During the gala paid homage to the path of the cyclist Ginés García, who obtained great achievements and titles nationally and internationally during his career between 1962 and 1968.
Thus, in his extensive track record stands as a leader in the 3rd stage of Tour of Catauña in stage 10 of Tour Lavenir Chamonix in France, or in the 2nd stage of the Tour of the Valleys Miners of Spain, among the more than achieved 20 podiums during his successful career.
In addition, it awarded the path of cyclists lumbrerenses yielded the best results during the past year.
Thus, a distinction awarded to the runner of Marathon BBT Spain, Francisco Diaz, as well as the regional champion under-23 XC MTB, Fabian Molina.
It also recognized the path of Jose Manuel Cayuela, overall champion Challenge final in Valencia.
They were also awarded the runner-up ranking around the Campo de Cartagena, Mark Sanchez and veteran's regional champion, Antonio Perez.
PRESENTATION VI MTB ROUTES UP PORT PORTING
It should be noted that during the day was presented the sixth edition of the March MTB routes Puerto Lumbreras to be held on Sunday 22 April, from 9.30am.
This new edition of the competition includes a tour of 70 km trails, roads and boulevards of the town.
Registrations are open until 18 April at the Club MTB Cabezo la Jara.
