The Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia has issued final approval of the municipal ordinance that simplifies administrative procedures for the creation of new companies exempted from environmental qualification in Puerto Lumbreras.
Starting on May 28 into operation the new system streamlines the procedures for start-ups in 24 hours in Puerto Lumbreras.

The new companies exempted from environmental qualification willing to become Puerto Lumbreras, may do so in just 24 hours with the final approval of the "License Express" in the township.
Thus, the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia has released the final approval of the Municipal Ordinance regulating the "License Express", with which it can process the new procedures for start-ups in 24 hours from the next 28 May.
In this sense, the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, explained that "with this new Municipal intend to encourage entrepreneurship and provide new entrepreneurs and administrative paperwork in a timely manner to expedite the implementation of new businesses. "
Thus, the ordinance's main purpose is to simplify the licensing procedures of environmental qualification exempt activities, as well as simplifying and clarifying changes regarding ownership of business licenses.
Thus, the town of Puerto Lumbreras and the Community of Murcia have been the first to launch the "License Express" of activity for companies exempted from environmental assessment.
Thus, the new ordinance streamlines the licensing activity, replacing the processing of licenses for a single advance notice, in those activities that do not require special procedures.
The prior notification procedure is to inform the City Council on putting up a business, introducing administrative documentation relating to the new company, a statement of the employer responsible for compliance with the requirements and the urban technical certificate.
In conclusion, the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, explained "what we want with this type of initiative is to strengthen the tissue and encourage local business."
In addition, Sanchez has said that "the implementation of the new rules agilizamos the process for creating new businesses in the town, eliminating red tape and unnecessary time limits."
