Puerto Lumbreras is the first municipality that hosts the 'Circuit of Visual Arts in the Region of Murcia' which was organized by the Autonomous Community of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Last night, Mayor of the municipality, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, and the Director General of Cultural Industries and the Arts, Juan Antonio Lorca, inaugurated the 'Circuit of Visual Arts' in the Region of Murcia, which begins with the exhibition "The Cracks of Time 'in the cultural heart of the Elven House of Puerto Lumbreras.
In this sense, the mayor of the municipality, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, said that "it is a pride for Puerto Lumbreras participate in this exhibition circuit in which the best artists on the national scene today."
Sanchez has also explained that "Puerto Lumbreras bet all year for the promotion of artistic culture through monthly exhibitions taking place in the new cultural center of the House of Fairies, and through the Exhibition of Contemporary Art that EXPLUM FESTIVAL is held every year in the town. "
Thus, through the 'Tour of the Visual Arts', the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras host throughout the year various exhibitions organized artistic holdings of the region.
On this occasion, "The Cracks of Time.
Spanish Art in the Twenty-First Century ', contains the most representative work of 21 artists: Santiago Sierra, Juan Olivares, Fernando Sánchez Castillo, Eduardo Balance, Marina Núñez, Daniel G.
Verbis Ydáñez Santiago, Javier Arce, Kaoru Katayama, Javier Núñez Gasco, Alicia Martin, Manuel Saro, Democracy, Nelo Vinuesa, Bene Bergado, Fermin Jimenez Landa, Enrique Marty, Maria Ortega and Charris.
The exhibition also shows works by two artists lumbrerenses enshrined in national and international art scene, Sonia Navarro and FOD.
The exhibition features the work of the last decade of 21 artists on the national scene through photography, installation, sculpture and painting, visit the cultural center of the Elven House for a month, the hours of 10.00 to 14.00 h and from 17.00 to 20.00h.
Circuit of Visual Arts
The 'Tour of the Visual Arts' lead to councils exhibition projects designed from the art collection that the Community has acquired over the years.

These three exhibitions will be displayed for one year in the ten municipalities participating in the tour: Murcia, Molina de Segura, Yecla, Cieza, Bullas, Puerto Lumbreras, Fuente Alamo, Totana, Beniel and White.
