The Center for Nature Interpretation receives more than five hundred visitors during the month of July (08/08/2012)

The Department of Culture and Tourism of Puerto Lumbreras has launched a program of guided visits to the center of interpretation of nature which is located in the countryside in the Cabezo de la Jara.

The equipment that contributes to the enhancement of the natural heritage of the municipality, has received more than five hundred visitors during the month of July.

Specifically, the visits take place every Wednesday of the months of July and August the hours of 20:30 to 23:00 h.

The councilman of Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, Maribel Martinez, explained that "visitors can learn through the tour of the center, flora, fauna and landscapes that houses the natural environment Cabezo de la Jara, also have the possibility of hiking trails through the natural landscape that offer diverse topics as astronomy, botany or water use. "

The facility has about 200 square meters where they are located, an audiovisual room, and a permanent exhibition area over resources and natural areas of the municipality.
