The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Education and Social Policy, has gained membership of the municipality to the Spanish Network of Healthy Cities, whose main objective is directed towards the promotion and protection of health and welfare of citizens , consistent with the principles of action for the project "Healthy Cities", the World Health Organization.
