The Women's Center includes a new programming initiatives related to physical activity, sport, healthy habits, language learning, new technologies, or painting, among others.
The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Equal Opportunity, has launched more than thirty new activities, workshops and training courses for the month of September at the Women's Center of Puerto Lumbreras.
Specifically, from the Department of Equal Opportunities has designed a new program that incorporates various initiatives related to physical activity, sport, healthy habits, language learning, new technologies, or painting, among others.
In this sense, the Councillor for Equal Opportunity, Catalina Gázquez, explained that "during this September we released a new schedule for our Center for Women, with which we intend to extend the offer training courses and recreational activities free time. addition, Gázquez explained that "we have implemented various programs that has not taught at the Centre in order to provide greater and varied range of educational and leisure alternatives for our women."
In this regard, some of the workshops that will be held during the month of September are physical physiotherapy and counseling, reflexology massage, furniture restoration and paint shop.
On the other hand, also be offered training programs as 'Information Technology and Communications for women entrepreneurs', to be conducted in collaboration with Family Association and World Rural Women (AFAMMER), for free.
In addition, there will be other workshops like "How to help children cope with exams?"
Or "How to overcome a personal interview?".
In this sense, the Women's Center also offers training programs in areas such as computer and language.
Also taught English courses at all levels, basic level German and Spanish for foreigners.
Finally, the Women's Centre has a program of activities for leisure as salsa, bachata, merengue, zumba, batuka, yoga, belly dancing, flamenco dancers, ballroom dancing, pilates, yoga, painting, patchwork and embroidery.
