The session will take the next Full Council a motion requesting the collaboration of the Autonomous Region for the creation of an Adaptation Plan and Improving Public Montes municipality
The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras presented at the next Full Council a motion requesting the collaboration of the Autonomous Region for the development of a Plan of adaptation and improvement of public forests.
In this sense, the Councillor for Sustainable Development, Salvadora Martinez, explained that "since the council continue working to improve our natural areas and thereby strengthen respect for the environment."
Thus, Martinez explained that "what we want to create a Plan of Adjustment and Improvement of public forests is to plan activities that contribute to the improvement and maintenance of the natural heritage of our town."
Thus, the Plan Adaptation and Improvement of Public Montes incorporate actions to maintain the four mountains as autonomic property, which are Lomas del Viento, Pallares, Cripple Corner, and Cabezo Huercal of Puerto Lumbreras.
In addition, the Plan Adaptation and improvement of public forests include initiatives and projects to protect the natural landscape of forests and reforestation initiatives that favor biodiversity of natural areas of the municipality.
Finally, the motion will be moved to the Department of Environment to incorporate Plan initiatives favoring the protection of the flora and fauna of the mountains of the town.
