The Regional Assembly today approved a motion of IU-Greens deputy, José Antonio Pujante, to be carried out "necessary actions" that will generate "a final solution" on the future of the Parador de Puerto Lumbreras.

The IU-Greens initiative states that the solution "should translate well to maintain existing facilities or by the creation of the second National School House."

Pujante stressed that the floods last September 28 in Puerto Lumbreras "make it even more necessary" maintenance of this infrastructure for the revival of the city's economy.
