Tests conducted by dental body found on 6 October in the Rambla de Béjar have confirmed that it is the German citizen Helmtrud Gill, who remained missing since Sept. 28 when his car was washed away as a result of Torrential rains that hit the towns of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras.
Gill, 72, had his residence in the County of Los Jarales lorquina, and driving to Puerto Lumbreras when he was surprised by the downpour.
On Saturday, after locating the body, the judicial authority ordered the removal of the body and its transfer to the Forensic Anatomical Institute of Murcia, where he performed various tests have finally determined its identity.
