Astudillo City Council Full Council approved an Institutional Declaration of condolence and two days of official mourning for the victims as a result of flooding in Puerto Lumbreras.
Astudillo Township Paella Solidarity organized a fundraiser to alleviate the damage by floods in Puerto Lumbreras.
The municipality of Palencia Astudillo, twinned with Puerto Lumbreras, in solidarity with the victims and those affected by the floods last September 28.
Thus, the City Council approved Astudillo Extraordinary Full Council in an Institutional Declaration of condolence and two days of official mourning for the victims as a result of the floods occurred in Puerto Lumbreras.
Thus, the City Council will donate Astudillo also benefits from a supportive paella held for economic collaboration with Puerto Lumbreras to alleviate the widespread damage caused by the floods.
Also, the council of all municipal groups Astudillo also donate compensation for attendance at Full Council which approved the days of mourning for the floods.
In his statement institutional Astudillo City Council wants to "express their support and solidarity to family and friends of the victims and to all the people of Puerto Lumbreras in general."
Astudillo Mayor explained that the decision was taken unanimously and "responds to the need to support the people of Puerto Lumbreras, locality with which we have spent years twinned and collaborating."
