United Left-Greens in the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has requested the taking all necessary steps to proceed immediately, or at the latest on the payroll of the month of October 2012, to stabilize the rate of income tax withholding that has been applied so far to workers belonging to the municipality.
As stated in Article 87.4 of the Regulations on Personal Income Tax, such adjustment must be made when it occurs, as now, a decline in the amount of salary payments.
This means you should start to apply the new withholding rates, which necessarily will be lower than current payroll in October.
Since the formation of the left warns that if there is no regularization cited in October payroll, personnel involved in the exercise of its legitimate right, could bring economic and administrative claims against the tax deducted for excessive and urge rectification of the self-assessments, which obviously would have important economic and administrative implications.
