The Director General of the Civil Guard, Arsenio Fernandez de Mesa, this morning visited the town of Puerto Lumbreras where he supervised the work of security that have been developed in the town after the floods.
Fernandez de Mesa has met with the mayor of the municipality, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, the government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Joaquin Bascuñana, and representatives of law enforcement and emergency in the municipality to discuss the work in security that are under development in the municipality.
The Director General of the Civil Guard of Spain, Arsenio Fernandez de Mesa, this morning visited the town of Puerto Lumbreras where he has held several meetings to coordinate and monitor the work of the Guardia Civil in the town after heavy floods in the town on 28 September.
So, Arsenio Fernandez met with the 11 members of the Guardia Civil in Puerto Lumbreras, and the Mayor of the municipality.

In this regard, during the meeting were analyzed emergency actions developed by the Guardia Civil in recent weeks after the floods in the municipality as well as the different coordination plans with different security services to optimize security and emergency in the town.
In this sense, the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, has moved to the Director General of the Civil Guard his "appreciation for the work that has played the Guardia Civil in the town and its collaboration with the various security forces in the Plan Emergency was activated in the town. "
Also, Sanchez has "thanked the various security and volunteers who continue to work in the town after the floods."
