The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, had a meeting this morning with the Secretary of State for Social Services and Equality, Juan Manuel Moreno, which have agreed to create a joint Action Protocol for developing social care programs victims of the flood of Sept. 28 in Puerto Lumbreras.
The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, held this morning in Madrid a meeting with the Secretary of State for Social Services and Equality, Juan Manuel Moreno, which analyzed the current situation of the municipality after the floods of the past 28 September that caused extensive damage.
Thus, during the meeting have agreed to the implementation of the Protocol to the Partnership to develop social programs to care for those affected by the floods in Puerto Lumbreras.
In this sense, the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, explained that "the protocol include care and support programs aimed at social flood affected families with special economic and social difficulties."
So, Sanchez explained that "the Protocol include training activities and employment promotion and social programs for people with fewer resources who have suffered the consequences of the floods."
In addition, among other measures, the Protocol will include plans to promote employment aimed at rural women to be provided with job counseling and training plans allocate to women in the districts of Puerto Lumbreras.
Finally, the Action Protocol will be signed to develop programs for these months and throughout the coming year.
