The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, accompanied by the Councillor for Youth, Sports and Volunteering, Jose Aragon, this morning visited the sports facilities of the municipality who have suffered significant damage as a result of flooding.
In this sense, Sanchez explained that "the sports facilities have been one of the most affected public facilities. Thus, the City Council are designing an investment program that allows compensation for damages are estimated at more than 3 million euros ".

In addition, the council is working on a plan for seeking sponsorships private patrons to allow recovery of the sports facilities of the town, which suffered significant damage as a result of heavy rains and the overflowing of the Rambla de Vilerda.
Thus, they were flooded all the sports facilities consist of tennis courts, paddle tennis courts, athletics track, sports court and 3 outdoor pools.
