The new actions have, in the first phase with an investment of around 250,000 euros financed by the Autonomous Community and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
The works are being developed in the rural road network of the station Esparragal and include actions to improve the firm, paving and widening of roads and design of hits on farms and livestock.
The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, with the director general of Irrigation and Rural Development, Julio Bernal, this morning visited the refurbishment and fitting being developed in the rural road network in the town.
In this sense, the new actions have an investment of around 250,000 euros in the first phase, "to improve rural roads and condition the hamlet of La Station-Esparragal that were severely damaged by the floods last September 28."
Specifically, we are developing improvement works in the firm and widening of roads and asphalt and paving over three and a half kilometers of rural roads.
Thus, the actions taking place in the way of Perez (1150 meters), the path-Berengueles The Adelfas (1,000 meters), and the level crossing road-house Mirones (1,500 meters).
On the other hand, are also renovating access from rural roads to farms and ranches, and installed new signage on the roads.
Thus, investments are financed by the Autonomous Community, through the General Directorate of Irrigation and Rural Development, in collaboration with the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
