The Department of Sports, in collaboration with the collaboration of Veloaventura Club has organized the III Rise to Cabezo Sima de La Jara, with the participation of five hundred athletes from different parts of the Region of Murcia, as well as other regions.

The day which also collaborated several local sports clubs, such as Club Hikers Andaya, MTB Cabezo de la Jara and Cyclist Ginés García Peña, has been divided into three different categories, such as the rise in mountain bike , hiking and running.

The Rise to Sima III Cabezo de La Jara has had its starting point in the Municipal Sports Complex, with a distance of 13 kilometers by natural landscapes, has culminated in the Sima del Cabezo.

Athletes on its journey have been enjoying natural surroundings Cabezo de la Jara, and the day ended with the youth hostel with a lunch of coexistence among participants.
