The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has launched hundreds of training courses for 2012 through the Local Training Plan with which we have tried to encourage "professional specialization of the population to improve access to the labor market."
More than 1,000 people have been trained over the past year in various fields such as new technologies, languages, hospitality, marketing, sales and catering, among others.
The CLD and the new Center for Entrepreneurship of Puerto Lumbreras have offered over the past one hundred years with training programs that have trained more than 1,000 people.
Specifically, the training they have been given courses, lectures, workshops and seminars on various topics such as new technologies, languages, IT, tourism, hospitality, social skills and motivation and business innovation, among others.
In this sense, some of these courses have been: "Practical workshop creates your online store", "Food handler", "Home to the computer", "Monitor extracurricular activities", "English tourist", "tourist Marketing" "social networking" and "Decoration shops".
Also within the Training Plan Local 2012, also have taught courses related to agriculture and livestock as "Safe handling of the tractor", "pesticide plant" or "Animal welfare in transport", with the aim of promoting modernization and professionalization of farms and ranches.
Also, technicians CLD have made more than 6,000 care, face and telephone, in which citizens have offered information on jobs, training, career paths of employment, career guidance and counseling in self-employment.
In this sense, about fifty of entrepreneurs have come to CLD in 2012 to request information and to create new companies.
