The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Culture, has organized a new program of cultural activities for the new year at the Library Network of Puerto Lumbreras.
Thus, among the many initiatives are scheduled reading workshops, storytelling, educational games, plays, drawing contests, poetry and animation workshops.
Specifically, every Thursday is made the contest "Librarian for a Day" in which they learn to be smaller library for a day exploring the functions and tasks that they play in the network of municipal libraries.
It continues the Reading Club Youth and Adult Book Club with new books for book lovers.
In this sense, the adult reading club will have its first meeting this year, the 29th of January at 17:00 in the House of the Elves.
Thus, a group of fans reading, discuss one of the great literary works of Antonio Machado "Campos de Castilla".
Similarly, this month will also meet the Youth Reading Club "Meeting Point" to discuss the book "The place of bats" by Joan Manuel Gisbert.
Also, the Councillor for Culture, Maribel Martinez, explained that "the Book Club aims to promote adult and juvenile reading habits and dialogue, while offering a different and fun alternative for leisure time free young and old" .
On the other hand, has scheduled a weekly entertainment under the slogan "Colorín colorado ... I placed my drawing" that invites youngsters to read and draw creatively.
Specifically, this week more than twenty children have participated in this activity that has dealt with the seasons.
