After the floods last September 28, 14 are being built breakwater walls on the slopes of Castle Nogalte to promote drainage and rainwater drainage area.
In total there are 2220 meters cubic building breakwaters.
Work continues on construction of 14 breakwater walls in the vicinity of Castle Nogalte to facilitate the evacuation and storm water drainage.
Specifically, we are building a total of 2,220 cubic meters of jetties on the slopes, following the damage to the environment Nogalte Castle because of the flood of Sept. 28.
Thus, we are building a main jetty over 1,500 cubic meters on the northern slope onto Calle del Caño.
In addition, we have created an access ramp to the ditch where the water passes freely, thus correcting the drainage in the area to evacuate rainwater towards the north side near the Rambla de Nogalte.
To this end, the weep holes are removed, the elements that increased amounts of runoff.
Furthermore, with these works is diverted water evacuation towards the northern side where it has built a discharge ditch avoiding the runoff of water into homes.
From this ditch, executed in concrete with mesh, water piped to stop, and the steps that form the shoulder lugs to act as load is losing.
Thus the aim of the work is the improvement and design of drains in the area, which was hard hit by landslides and mudslides because of the flood of Sept. 28. "
In this sense, the works council, Eliseo Sanchez, explained that "these works are being carried out in order to channel water from the rain so that no flow through the town streets."
Furthermore, he concluded by explaining that "the works completed during this month."
