The shows 'Women's Work' will be exhibited throughout the month of March and can be visited from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 14.00 and 16.00 to 19.00 Tuesday.
The exhibition showcases the works of artists lumbrerenses and artistic works that have been made about thirty women all year through workshops offered by the Centre for Women.
The Department of Equality, through the Women's Center will offer throughout the month of March the exhibition 'Women's Work' lumbrerenses created by women to mark the Day of Working Women.
Thus the exhibition will offer an art show created by more than twenty lumbrerenses women, while the artwork will be displayed that have been made throughout the year through the workshops from the Center for Women.
Thus, 'Works Women' will show works from the activities and workshops of embroidery, painting, furniture restoration, patchwork and crafts.
In this sense, the Councillor for Equality, Catalina Gázquez, explained that "this is an original sample in which both artists and women lumbrerenses being initiated through art workshops we offer throughout the year at the Center Women ".
The exhibition can be visited throughout the month of March at the Women's Centre, Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 16.00 to 19.00.
