During the next few months will be taught workshops on new sexual-affective education, first aid and drug prevention.
The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Education, in collaboration with the Institute of Secondary Education "Nogalte Rambla", through their guidance department, have launched a new program of Study Skills and Motivation aimed at students of 1 ° and 2 ° of the ESO.
Thus, more than 300 students have attended lectures on study skills and motivation imparted by professional branch of psychology, and the students were able to acquire tools to improve their academic performance and speed up the learning process .
Furthermore, the workshop is divided into several blocks of content flexibly raised, referring to the analysis of the problems, the planning of the study, the use of class attendance, self-esteem, reading comprehension, concentration and exam preparation.
To develop the program uses a active methodology by students.
In this sense, the Councillor for Education, Maria Angeles Tunisia, stressed that "through these workshops students improve their study habits acquired while learning effective strategies."
Finally, note that in addition to this workshop, during the months of March, April and May experts sizes taught new sexual-affective education, unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases-AIDS, first aid and prevention addiction center for students of different levels of ESO.
