The first aid training programs have been conducted by the Emergency Services and Civil Protection of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
The sessions aim to "provide young people with initial training in first aid techniques and awareness of the importance of acting during the first moments of an emergency."
The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has launched a program of first aid training in collaboration with the Institute of Nogalte Rambla.
The initiative consists of training in first aid talks aimed at students of Institute of Nogalte Rambla which are taught by professionals in the Emergency Services and Civil Protection of Puerto Lumbreras.
In this sense, the Councillor for Education, Maria Angeles Tunisia, explained that "the conference aimed to equip young people with basic training in first aid techniques and awareness of the importance of acting during the first moments of an emergency" .
Thus, through this program teaches students the basics in first aid for emergencies in the moments before the assistance of health professionals, in order not to worsen the injuries of accident victims.
In addition, the day the students have met the functioning of the Emergency Services and phone 112.
Students of the Institute's training courses Nogalte Rambla have already taken the training course, and is scheduled throughout the year to extend the program to other first aid courses and graduate school.
