To do this, through the library network were awarded to users who have requested a larger number of book loans during 2012.
Thus, in the junior category the winner was Alejandro Torrente Sanchez, while in the youth category was Khadija Maou, and adults Delight Lujan.
The winners have been premiaos with a lot of books that have been donated by the municipality Nova bookstores, Stripes and Papyrus.
So, with this initiative, the municipality has completed the Book Month which included more than a dozen cultural and educational initiatives to encourage reading.
Among the initiatives that have been organized throughout the month have highlighted school competitions, storytelling, book club meetings and presentations of books and stories.
In this sense, the Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Maribel Martinez, explained that "the organization of these activities is essential these days, as they help to promote the habit of reading from an early age."
The program has been designed by the City of Puerto Lumbreras through the library network and collaborated Nova Stationery, Book Stripes, Papyrus Stationery and La Caixa.
