The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia has developed a police operation against drug trafficking in Puerto Lumbreras that has resulted in the arrest of two people for the crime of drug trafficking.
Surprised the agents arrested with 159 acorns of hashish, throwing a total weight of 1.7 kg and were hidden in the luggage carrying in the trunk of a vehicle from Almeria.
The performance took place after the Civil Guard, in one of the services for the prevention of drug trafficking, establish a police on people and vehicles in Puerto Lumbreras.
During the inspection of one of the vehicles, which came from Almería, a dog of the Civil Guard, trained to detect drugs, marked one of the bags carrying the vehicle.
After identifying the owner of the suitcase, we proceeded to record it, where they found 61 acorns of hashish, so we proceeded to the arrest and subsequent remand in custody of the wearer as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of drug trafficking .
Suspecting that the person who was arrested in company could carry narcotics agents specialized in safety prevention, we identified and inspected her luggage.
In the same hash detected 98 acorns, so we proceeded equally to his arrest and remand in custody.
Detainee
The Civil Guard has proceeded to the arrest, suspected of the crime of drug trafficking, two people identified as:
- Moroccan, 27 years old and lives in Almeria.
- Moroccan, 33, who lives in Almeria.
Those arrested have a criminal record for committing criminal acts before.
Effects seized:
The arrested officers seized the hashish 159 acorns yielding a total weight of 1.7 kg, plus 734 euros in cash.
The detainees, the seized cash, drugs seized and the proceedings have been brought before the Court of Instruction No. 6 Lorca (Murcia).
