The solidarity of Caritas closet receiving center operates as garments that are offered to families that need it most.
During the last year we have distributed clothes to nearly a hundred families, and more than 25,000 kg of food.

Serafin Campoy and volunteers responsible for Caritas of Puerto Lumbreras, Francisca Gázquez, visited the closet solidarity from which Caritas has distributed clothing for the last year a hundred needy families in the municipality.
In this sense, explained that "the closet solidarity works by the receiving side as clothing, and on the other, offers people in need of clothing people once classified and subject to review and adjustment by Caritas volunteers in the town ".
Thus, during the last year about a hundred needy families have benefited from the services of solidarity in Puerto Lumbreras closet from which you have allocated a total of 120 lots of clothes.
In addition, both Caritas and the City Council through the Social Services have been distributed during the last year more than 25,000 kilos of food staples benefiting nearly 400 citizens with special difficulties.
The Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, explained that "as much as for Caritas to the City is a priority basic needs of the families most in need in these special moments of difficulty."
To do so, "the council through Social Services, we have implemented new ways of collaboration with Caritas Parish to distribute aid and reporting of families applying for aid."
Thus, the Social Services made a preliminary report of the status of the plaintiffs of such aid to be allocated to the poorest families or at risk of social exclusion such as family groups with children or elderly dependents, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities for work, children in distress, homeless or elderly people with the lowest pensions.
