The Director General of Cultural Assets, Francisco Gimenez, and the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, today introduced the Local History Classroom will be located in the old town, which also created two new related museum spaces and Folklore Easter.
The Local History Lecture, to be located in the cultural center of the House Elves, promote research and dissemination of traditions, culture and history of the town.
It will offer exhibitions, historical documents and digitized audiovisual archive.
The Hall will be the support for consultation and information assets through books, magazines and historic documents.
It will include a service audiovisual projection of historical and cultural content offering the possibility of projections directed to groups as well as query and visualization in digital historical documentation, cartographic and photographic municipality.
We also offer a museum intended to display contents related to local history through permanent and traveling exhibitions.
Finally, from the Local History Classroom activities will be organized for research and historical dissemination through seminars, conferences, round tables and thematic exhibitions.
Finally, two other projects were visited museological spaces in the Old Town: the new Museum and Folk Center 'Virgen del Rosario' and the House-Museum of the Holy Week Brotherhoods.
