The Flamenco Festival takes place on Saturday July 29 from 22.30 at Castle Nogalte and will feature performances by more than 40 dancers and ballet dancers 'Ria Pita'.
The town of Puerto Lumbreras host on Saturday July 29 from 22.30 the fourteenth edition of the Flamenco Festival, which this year will feature the show danced representation 'Patio de Colores' organized by Ria Pita Dance Association.
This morning, the Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Maribel Martinez, and the president of the Association of Dance Ria Pita, Maria Carmen Martinez, presented this year's Festival Flamenco de Puerto Lumbreras.
"The Festival Flamenco de Puerto Lumbreras becomes more important every year, and has already become a key event for all lovers of dance and flamenco. This year the festival will feature a special performance by more than 40 dancers and dancers participate as performers danced the poetic representation of 'Patio de Colores' "said the Councillor for Tourism and Culture, Maribel Martinez.
So, this edition 2013, the Festival will feature a poetic interpretation of 'Patio de Colores' Association danced by Ria Pita Flamenco Dance.
The play, directed by M ª Carmen Martinez, will be performed by local actors, and will include flamenco dancing more than 40 members of the Association Ria Pita.
Thus, the work 'Patio de Colores' has been written by the artist Salvador lumbrerense Marcos Romera, and also has three poems by Quintero, León y Quiroga.
In addition, the book is narrated by citizens lumbrerenses as Maria Luz Calderon, Juan Carlos Calderón, Ginés Alcaraz, Emilia Pérez, Laura Rocio Segura and Hellin.
So, 'Patio de Colores' star in the festival with a stage and colorful costumes, and a show "more flamenco than previous editions," says the president of Ria Pita, Maria Carmen Martinez.
The story focuses on one of the traditional Andalusian patios and each neighbor has a proper history of everyday life with a total of 10 flamenco dances as farruca, joy or triana tango among others.
Admission is free, and will feature music dances flamenco artists embodied.
