M ª Ángeles Tunisia has met with the pastor of the town, Serafin Campoy Rinaldo, to plan projects and charity campaigns in collaboration with Caritas Parish.
The City Council and Parish Caritas strengthen their collaboration to help the poorest families of Puerto Lumbreras through the food bank and the Wardrobe solidarity.
The new Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, this morning held a first meeting with the pastor of Our Lady of the Rosary and the president Parish Caritas, D.
Campoy Serafin Rinaldo to discuss various issues and projects that collaborate with the City.
So, have agreed to continue promoting "solidarity campaigns to help families most in need in partnership with Caritas Parish".
In this sense, explained that during the last year about a hundred needy families have benefited from the services of solidarity in Puerto Lumbreras closet from which you have allocated a total of 120 lots of clothes.
In addition, both Caritas and the City Council through the Social Services have been distributed during the last year more than 15,000 kilos of food staples benefiting nearly 400 citizens with special difficulties.
The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, explained that "as much as for Caritas to the City is a priority basic needs of the families most in need."
To do so, "the City through Social Services, we have implemented new ways of collaboration with Caritas Parish to distribute aid and reporting of families applying for aid."
