Many citizens have participated with its own wine harvest this year on 2013.

The winner was Raimundo García Mateo, who has won the award for 'Best Tasting' and also the award for 'Best Color'.

After the competition, there has been a ham tasting wines accompanied with participants in this 2013 edition.

After flooding the Municipal Council agreed to establish the Wine Competition held every year at the Feast of the hamlet of lumbrerense-Esparragal Station, take the name "Wine Tasting Competition Juan Asensio Lopez" in recognition of a of the victims of the flood of September 28, 2012 that he won the contest in 2011.
