The City Council and the Confederation of Employers of Puerto Lumbreras 'ASEPLU' have organized this initiative 'that is included in the Christmas Campaign with the aim of promoting local trade.'

The center of Puerto Lumbreras hosts throughout the weekend the Christmas Craft Market in this year, more than a dozen local artisans and merchants, and artisans from many other parts of the Region of Murcia.

So, Councillor of Commerce, Industry and SMEs, Jerome Gázquez, and the president of the Confederation of Employers (ASEPLU), Antonio García Elvira, inaugurated the market "is included in the Campaign for the Promotion of Local Trading Christmas" .

"This Christmas Market Craft intend to encourage and stimulate trade in Puerto Lumbreras at this time, while offering consumer promotions and handmade quality products so they can do their Christmas shopping without having to travel out of town, '" he stressed Councillor for Commerce, Industry and SMEs during the inauguration.

Thus, the Christmas Market is located on Avenida Pedro García Rubio, and will remain open through Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 21:00 h.

Thus, more than a dozen companies and local artisans and twenty artisans from different parts of the Region participate in this initiative in which consumers can purchase handmade delicacies and Christmas decorations, as well as products of various sectors such as textiles, toys or jewelry.
