Technical Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, recently conducted a familiarization trip to Puerto Lumbreras to see first hand news of the tourism product 'Medina Nogalte', which includes the most significant elements the historical, artistic and ethnographic heritage of the village.
Specifically, Nogalte visited Castle and Cave Houses that have been specifically themed to publicize the history and traditions of Puerto Lumbreras.
During the day, we also visited the home of the Elves, which was restored and is home to rare graphology living tribute to Augusto Vels, one of the most influential figures in the discipline internationally.
Finally visited the Cabeza de la Jara, where the Interpretation Center of Nature and the Youth Hostel.
With all the information gathered during this familiarization trip, the Institute of Tourism promotes the different destinations in the region of Murcia on the website of regional tours, Murcia Travel.'s Right, in social networks, as well as in promotional activities that developed outside the region.
