Nogalte Athletics Club, in collaboration with the Department of Sports City in Puerto Lumbreras, has organized the IV Rise to Sima of Cabeza de la Jara, which brought together over 300 athletes from different parts of the Region of Murcia, as well as other regions.
Thus, the sports day, which has had its starting point in the Municipal Sports Complex, has been divided into three different modes: climb mountain biking, hiking and running.
Thus, the IV Rise to Sima del Cabeza de la Jara has enjoyed a 13 km natural landscapes and has culminated in the Sima del Summit.
Athletes in its route have been enjoying natural surroundings of Cabeza de la Jara, and the awards ceremony was held at the Youth Hostel with a lunch of coexistence among participants.
In this sense, the victors in the general classification in the form of MTB have been Fabián Molina (male category) and Maria Carmen Garcia (female category).
On the other hand, in the form of running has been the champion Raul Guevara (male category) and Esther Sánchez (female category).
In addition, participants were able to perform in tour mode hiking non-competitively.
