The joint initiative also collected toys for distribution to children of disadvantaged families through Caritas Parish of Puerto Lumbreras.
The town of Puerto Lumbreras has hosted this weekend a game of football solidarity benefit Caritas Parish.
The sports day, organized by the Club Deportivo Lumbreras in collaboration with Caritas and the City, has raised over 200 pounds of nonperishable food and toys will go to children in the most disadvantaged families.
So, the game was played by the CD Lumbreras and Sport Lorca, and the entrance to the party consisted of donating toys or 1 kilo of non-perishable foods like milk, oil, sugar, beans, lentils, chickpeas, noodles and macaroni.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, with President of the CD Lumbreras and representatives of Caritas Parish did count food and toys collected through the joint initiative.
The charity match result was 0-2., For Lorca Deportiva.
