Councillor for Education and Culture, Maribel Martinez, explained that the City is committed to "cultural and educational initiatives to promote habits of younger reading and writing body".
The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Education and Culture, launched the now traditional illustrated story contest.
This time the competition has gathered more than fifty participants in the town who have written and illustrated their stories based on Christmas themes.
Four special prizes for students in 3rd, 4th and 5th for the primary and were awarded best illustrated story.
Thus, the winners were Alba Pérez, Inés Gázquez, and José Antonio Widowhood.
In addition, the award for best illustrated story has been for Ahmed Rabihel.
All stories remain exposed participants in the Municipal Library and the town Library-Esparragal Station.
The best stories have been awarded school supplies that has delivered the Councillor for Education and Culture, Maribel Martinez, pupils authors of stories.
