Students in public schools in the municipality participated in the tour and had the opportunity to see military vehicles and artillery equipment.

The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, this morning visited the 4th Battery HAWK Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment No 74 of Dos Hermanas (Sevilla), which conducts military exercises in the town throughout the week.

So, the Mayor has welcomed the 80 soldiers who make up the group of Artillery, in an act that has also had the assistance of members of the government team and children from public schools in the municipality.

During the visit, the group has shown military school their daily activities, who have, by the Mayor, a tour of the main camp facilities.

In this sense, the Mayor, along with more than 50 schools have been able to contemplate a fleet of vehicles for each of the models containing the Anti-Aircraft Regiment (Light, Ambulance, 7226 and M-250).

Also, members of the Artillery have made an exhibition of the materials used as well as broadcast material and portable weaponry.

Finally, there has been a settlement in the visit has been exposed material and anti-aircraft missiles and different capabilities of the constituent teams of Battery.

Note that throughout the week more than 80 soldiers have been in Puerto Lumbreras participating in exercises conducted by the Army Air NATO (integrated in the TLP: Tactical Leadership Programme), in order to improve the preparation of their more experienced pilots.

Thus, throughout the week, students from four public schools in the municipality attended the camp Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment for using devices and defense actions they perform.

The HAWK unit deployed at two sites of Murcia: In Los Canovas and Puerto Lumbreras and the evolution of the many performers aircraft, has managed to complete and promote the instruction of crews from different teams, control and management aspects of airspace, as well as methods of preparation and execution of anti-aircraft combat.
