The PSOE abstains to start up a new project to promote job creation and economic development of the municipality
The Municipal Council agrees to continue working on this project in which 5 million euros will be invested through European FEDER funds.
The Municipal Council of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has approved a motion to continue promoting the new project for the future of the facilities of the Parador in which a Superior Expertise Centre Nutrition, Food and Business Promotion Gastronomic be built.
Thus, the PSOE has abstained from voting on this project that is planned "direct job creation in the town as well as economic development to become one of the training centers of reference in the field of restoration and national cuisine. "
So, the mayor explained that "the new project will focus on training and research, and promote economic development and job creation in the town to become one of the training centers of reference in Spain."
In addition, M ª Ángeles Tunisia said that "we have analyzed the feasibility of the project given the demand in the field of training in the field of gastronomy and restaurants."
So, as adopted in the Municipal Council, the new Center will focus its activity in offering training courses, specialization courses, college diplomas and official masters.
Moreover, the aim of the new center is to offer a new quality training, implement cutting-edge research areas related to tourism and gastronomy, as well as foster the creation of new products and services related to the field of restoration.
The new project will have more than 5 million euros funded through ERDF funds investment.
In this regard, the mayor concluded by explaining that "with the new project to the Parador de Puerto Lumbreras part to promote economic development and job creation in our town, where every year students across the country will attend various studies related to nutrition, food and restoration. "
