Tunisia has announced that the new equipment will be launched in the month of March, during his visit to the facility.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, this morning held a meeting with the CEO of People Disability Murciano Institute of Social Action, John Brown, to finalize the details of the implementation of the new Day Care Centre for People with disabilities in Puerto Lumbreras.
In this sense, the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, explained that "this public facility will be operational by next March and will offer therapeutic care and services to promote a better quality of life for people with disabilities."
After the meeting, the CEO of People with Disabilities, accompanied by the Mayor, visited the center to see the facilities and the services provided therein.
Thus, the Mayor stressed that, "the purpose of this center is to provide users with a comprehensive care to improve their quality of life through the development of programs and services that help to meet their basic needs by promoting personal wellness and social ".
Notably, the new equipment has an area of ​​over 2,100 square meters and includes an Early Childhood Center with more than 80 beds and a day center for people with disabilities with more than 30 seats that will expand services for people with disabilities in the town, thanks to a collaboration agreement to formalize the City and the region.
Downstairs the Early Childhood Center comprises a living psychomotor and physical therapy, speech therapy three classrooms are located.

Moreover, on the second floor Center for people with disabilities, older than 16 is located, and includes two classrooms and training programs for personal and social adjustment, employment workshops and several restrooms, office, gym and physiotherapy.
The center provides a multi-sensory room which is constituted as a space with certain characteristics which may work differently way.

The center offers a common dining room and a space for families where spaces of psychology and social work will be located.
The infrastructure has been built through an investment of over USD 1,400,000, and services will be managed by the diagram Foundation, which specializes in caring for people with disabilities.
