The Department of Public Safety has organized a mock fire evacuation in Kindergarten "Juan Lopez", which has had the supervision of the local police officers and members of Civil Protection.
The network of local nurseries Puerto Lumbreras is conducting various drills in their children's centers.
This practice, part of the Local Emergency Plan "is designed to evaluate the response of childcare to a possible fire," said Councilwoman Emergency and Public Safety, Dolores Arenas.
Specifically, there has been a fire evacuation drill in Kindergarten "Juan Lopez", which has had the supervision of the local police officers and members of Civil Protection of the municipality.
So, around ten o'clock the alleged fire originated in the kitchen of the kindergarten, having to evacuate all children was inside the building.
In this sense, Dolores Arenas stated that "with these drills are to avoid improvisation and get a perfect analysis of the suitability or potential weaknesses in evacuation plans."
