Alumni Rambla Nogalte Institute Yearbook presented last night with the representation of a play in which the traditions and highlighted major events of the year in Puerto Lumbreras.
From January to December, the Yearbook offers a photographic memory with more than 2,000 photographs depicting social, recreational and cultural activities to show the daily life of Puerto Lumbreras in the past year.
Puerto Lumbreras has presented its 2013 Yearbook that summarizes the municipal, social and cultural life of the city through more than 2,000 photographs.
Alumni Rambla Nogalte Institute Yearbook presented last night with the representation of a play that summarized the events and most deeply rooted traditions of the municipality.
"From January to December, the Yearbook offers a photographic memory with more than 2,000 photographs depicting social, recreational and cultural activities to show the daily life of Puerto Lumbreras," said the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Ángeles Tunisia.
Thus, summarizing the main social events since Christmas, Carnival, Easter, activities in schools and festivals in the town, "a selection photographs that we capture the history of our people during the past year."
Thus, M ª Ángeles Tunisia explained that 2013 was a year marked by the flood recovery across all infrastructure works.
He also explained that, this document summarizes other news for the town as the celebration of the World Enduro Championship, the opening of the new pumping station, the rise of infant CD Lumbreras or the coronation of Ana Isabel Diaz as Queen of parties.
In addition, the Yearbook shows the educational and recreational activity of schools and sports initiatives disputed in the town, among which highlighted the launch of a new College Football Real Madrid, or new tourism programs town offering guided tours of the Castle Cave Houses Nogalte or visits.
Furthermore, employment, the Mayor concluded by explaining that "during 2013 continued the downward trend in the unemployment rate of the village, keeping between 12 and 14 points below the national average of unemployment."
