The town of Puerto Lumbreras held on Sunday, March 9th Race Grand Prix Women Color Q coinciding with the celebration of the International Day of Working Women.
The Mayor of the municipality, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, Councillor for Youth and Sports, José Aragón and Councilwoman Equality, Catalina Gázquez, took the test at a press conference with one of the most outstanding athletes, Almudena Rodríguez López Armentia that It has been 5 times champion of Spain and last year was winner of the Race of Women of Seville.
The presentation was also attended by the president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Puerto Lumbreras, Ana Maria Cerrillo and President Nogalte Athletics Club, Juan Francisco Carrillo along athletes lumbrerense club.
Thus, the sporting event will be held on Sunday, March 9 from 10:00 am in Puerto Lumbreras, and is expected to enroll hundreds of women to work in solidarity with the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
Thus, as explained by the Mayor, the sports event also will feature Olympic champion Fermín Cacho and Cristina González, 100km Champion Spain, Almudena Rodríguez, winner of the women's race in Seville regional and popular athletes like Rachel Miras, Sabrina Rico, Laura Mabel Puche or Gallardo.
The event will be held from 10.00am.
Registration for adults is 4 euros and 2 euros children that will go to benefit the association Spain Against Cancer of Puerto Lumbreras.
The collection of numbers will take place on Friday 7th, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th March at the Youth Space Puerto Lumbreras.
The organization of the race in collaboration with the city are the Nogalte Athletics Club, Color Q and Esparragal Sports Association.
It also works the Spanish Association Against Cancer, Cope and Cadema 100.
RODRIGUEZ LOPEZ DE ARMENTIA ALMUDENA JOINS RACE WOMAN Puerto Lumbreras
Almudena Rodriguez wanted to add to the presentation of Puerto Lumbreras charity race whose proceeds will benefit the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
Thus, during the presentation Almudena has appealed to all women to join this initiative in which the sport is mixed with solidarity.
