The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, and the Minister of Education, Universities and Employment, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, have placed this morning the first stone of the new nursery school to be built next to public school Assumption Jordan.
The ceremony was attended by the President of the Regional School Board, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education, Universities and Jobs, members of the educational community of Puerto Lumbreras, parents of college students and members of the government team and workers municipal network of nurseries in Puerto Lumbreras, Pequecultura.
This work, which is developed by the CEIP Asunción Jordan of Puerto Lumbreras, is part of the 'Education Plan 3' developed by the central government and the Autonomous Community through the Ministry of Education, Universities and Employment.
Thus, the new Children's School has a total investment of 757,000 euros, of which 687,000 will be spent on the work and equipment 70,000 euro.
