The current socio-economic situation has nothing to do with the years of the housing bubble, an economic commitment that has served only to benefit a few at the expense of the vast majority of lumbrerenses, neighbors who are now ruined.
Even the municipal coffers are tremendously indebted and unable to cope with even the works that remain unfinished.
The new General Plan, must respect the natural growth of the municipality, in addition to not fall into the same irregularities that led to the Supreme Court of Murcia to rule judgment against the current Plan.
The new General Plan should serve as a guide for proper growth of the village in the coming decades, regardless of political persuasion to govern at all times, and must therefore be made with the greatest possible consensus.
The debate should be as broad as possible, including every one of the socio-economic sectors of the town, looking for the best possible balance between them.
Sectors such as agriculture and livestock can not be seen as unworkable limited planning agreements today, and possibly in the next few decades, which is still gathered in the document published by Avance government team.
The agreements signed by the Partido Popular in the town, for the benefit of just a few, are not a mortgage criteria.
The Socialist Party requests the establishment of a working committee that includes among its members not only the political parties represented in the council, but also access to business, agriculture and livestock, trade unions and even neighborhood associations.
All, in one way or another have the right and obligation to provide for the future of our town.
