Numerous lumbrerenses have gathered at The Hut Rociero Esparragal to celebrate this holiday.
The town of Puerto Lumbreras has hosted the eleventh edition of the Pilgrimage in honor of the Virgen del Rocío in involving many lumbrerenses.
From early morning the day has begun with a procession in honor of the Virgen del Rocio and Rociero Mass in the Chapel of The Esparragal.
The traditional meeting, organized by the 'Association Rociero Candela' in collaboration with the City, has also had performances in which the audience participated dressed in traditional costumes rocieros.
After Mass and Procession, attendees participated in a fellowship meal that has led to the performance of Antonio Micol and David Andreu.
According to members of the organization "Party Rociero has become a tradition in Puerto Lumbreras in which honors the Virgen del Rocío surrender. Moreover, the event has become a date of coexistence for many lumbrerenses involved in fast ".
