The City Council intends this motion show their "support for the royal family after the abdication of King Juan Carlos."
Thus, after the Full Council approval, the new day center for people with disabilities to read "Princess Leonor".
This appointment will take place after the abdication of King Juan Carlos and Prince Felipe upcoming coronation as King of Spain, which is when the Infanta Leonor, receive the title of Princess of Asturias.
Notably, the new Day Centre for People with Disabilities has an area of ​​over 2,100 square meters and includes an Early Childhood Center with more than 80 beds and a day center for people with disabilities comprehensive services for disabled people in the town, thanks to the collaboration between the City and the region.
In this mode, the Mayor has stated that "the purpose is to meet the social needs and implement the right of citizens to enjoy basic levels of well-being and promote a better quality of life for people with disabilities."
The infrastructure has been built through an investment of over USD 1,400,000, and services will be managed by the diagram Foundation, which specializes in caring for people with disabilities.
