The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Education and Culture, under the motto "Come to the library and tell it 'has launched a program of activities that promote reading habit among children.
The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Education and Culture, launched under the slogan 'Come to the library and tell it' a program of educational and recreational activities for the little ones, among which is the competition 'Detective Library'.
The contest in which more than 200 schools in fifth grade schools in the municipality, has been developed in the Municipal Library Network of Puerto Lumbreras, who has extensive programming as games, contests, plays, storytelling or participatory readings, encouraging the habit of reading among children in the locality.
Thus, through the competition 'Detective Library', the students have learned in a fun and entertaining way, the services offered by public libraries and their operation.
Specifically, the contest involved the formulation of general knowledge questions at the different teams of children, who searched for answers among the hundreds of books from libraries, the winner being the first to finish group with the correct answers.
