The exhibition will remain open until September 30 at the House of Trolls.
The town celebrates the twentieth anniversary of the painting competition 'Corners Puerto Lumbreras' with an exhibition at the House of Trolls cultural center in which 20 paintings were chosen first prizes of the contest in their 20s exposed which has been held since 1994.
The Mayor of the municipality, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, explained that "this event has settled over the past 2 decades as an inescapable artistic appointment to our town and to our festivities."
Thus, 20 works shown, as the title of the event, the spots of Puerto Lumbreras collecting artists in their work during the day in which the event is held.
In this sense, M ª Ángeles Tunisia highlighted during the opening "the consolidated nature of the event and the following among local and from different points of the Spanish geography artists."
Thus, by the Mayor Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Maribel Martinez, made delivery of two commemorative plaques to San Bartolome Salvador Carlos Lopez Mellado and Serres, belonging to the cultural association "La Jara-López José Serres", for the work have been performed for 20 years in the organization of the painting contest.
In addition, M ª Ángeles Tunisia thanked to the sponsors of the event, and the Cultural Association "La Jara-José López Serres" organized the event and is formed by a group fond of painting people, one of the early members was local painter José López Serres, whose memory the Association.
Notably, the painting exhibition "Corners of Puerto Lumbreras XX Anniversary" located in the Elven House Cultural Center will be open from July 3 until September 30 (except August).
Thus, people interested in visiting may do so Monday through Friday from 10.00h to 14.00h and 17.00h to 8:00 p.m..
