The town of Puerto Lumbreras hosted at Castle Nogalte the XV edition of the Flamenco Festival that had the poetic interpretation of the play "Malena. Upon a time my life," a play told from the look of your character based on love, betrayal and selfishness;

The Mayor, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, stressed "the importance, each year the Flamenco Festival, which has become a key event for all lovers of dance and flamenco."
This year the work presented has been written by Rocío Hellin under the original idea and choreography by Carmen Aviles and voices of Mari Luz Maria Calderon and Carmen Martinez, director of the play.
The soundtrack contrasted the old pure flamenco and more contemporary flamenco beside a costume inspired by ocher and earth.
Thus, the tourism environment filled Nogalte Medina flamenco through the collaboration of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras through the Department of Culture.
Thus, during the work as Guajira dances, cheers, tango and flamenco farruca were interpreted, among others.
Ria Pita is a cultural association that promotes and currently teaches dance in Puerto Lumbreras and surrounding municipalities as Huercal Overa, Vélez Rubio and Lorca.
