During the day a chocolate and a giant paella, whose profits will go to the lumbrerense Association of Patients with Alzheimer's (VILLAGE) will be performed.
The day will feature a pilgrimage along the Rambla of Vilerda, Mass in Chapel of the Virgin of Carmen in the place of the Third, and a day of living with paella, musical performances and traditional games.
The town of Puerto Lumbreras held on Saturday November 8th Pilgrimage in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, and the benefit of lumbrerense Association of Alzheimer.
This morning, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and the parish priest, Serafin Campoy, along the Councillor for Culture, Maribel Martinez, presented the program of activities including Pilgrimage in honor of the Virgen del Carmen.
Thus, they explained that the Pilgrimage "was held for the second year in conjunction with the blessing of the Chapel in honor of the Virgen del Carmen which is situated in the hamlet of La Tertia on Rambla Vilerda, and it will be a day in which all benefits VILLAGE '' Association will go.
So, the day will include a Mass and Procession in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, Patroness of Cabeza de la Jara.
In addition, the Mayor explained that "this is a day of living designed for all local families and our districts."
Specifically, at 10.30 in the morning the day will begin with a solidarity chocolate 1 euro to benefit the Alzheimer's Association, and 11.00 am will start from the Nuestra Church. Ms. Virgen del Rosario.
Below you will Pilgrimage to Our Lady of the Rambla de Vilerda up to the chapel located in the place of the Third.
There will officiate a Mass in honor of the patron saint of Cabeza de la Jara at 13.00, followed by a day of living will be celebrated with performances, paella solidarity, and popular for smaller games.
The Capilla de la Virgen del Carmen is situated in the hamlet of La Rambla in Tertia Vilerda, and was built in 1945.
