Over 600 students from schools in Puerto Lumbreras visit this week the temporary exhibition 'Itinerancias: Contemporary Size' which is in the exhibition hall of the Auditorium of Puerto Lumbreras Cultural Complex.
To this end the Department of Education and Culture has offered schools the opportunity to join the initiative to familiarize schoolchildren in the municipality with the world of culture and exhibitions.
Thus, the temporary exhibition shows spectacular sculptures representing nearly a dozen artists like Amancio Gonzalez, Jesus Curiá, Amparo Carbonell, Ana Gallinal José Ponte Pedro Puche or Romulus.
The works exhibited are of various sizes ranging from 27 centimeters to 2.58 meters, and all the artists that are part of the exhibition have in common work from the common element of wood.
In this sense, the work can be visited from 17 October to 31 December 2014 in the Exhibition Hall Auditorium Puerto Lumbreras Cultural Complex, and also arranged groups will visit in the morning prior reservation on 968 436,153.
Artists who come together in this exhibition are between abstraction and figuration, fleeing the preciousness to make clear the structure, assembly and composition of matter working.
That is why the analogy with the body takes shape, finishing their pieces rudely and slightly polished, as if it were a wild fur.
