Students of the Institute of Secondary Education Rambla Nogalte today attended a conference on climate change to coincide with the celebration of World Science Day for Peace and Development.
Here, more than a hundred students have known the consequences and impacts related to the phenomenon of climate change.
In addition, students have learned how this phenomenon occurs and how to stop it.
Thus, the conference was given by Francisco Vitoria, Head of Service Development Environment and Climate Change Directorate General Environment.
Note that the purpose of the Day is Science for Peace and Development is to renew the commitment to science for peace and development, and emphasize the responsible use of science for the benefit of society and particularly to eradicate poverty and promote human security.
World Day also aims to achieve greater public awareness of the importance of science and bridge the gap between science and society.
